The Division League is the amateur association of South Korea, which was founded in 2017 as part of the structural reform plans of the KFA. The three existing amateur leagues are organized in it.

Structure, organization

All district, city and provincial associations are members of the Division League. Depending on the league level, the associations organize the individual leagues (e.g. K5 League; all provincial associations; K6 League all city associations; K7 League all district associations). Up to 1259 clubs are organized accordingly in the association.

The Division League started operations at the beginning of 2017 and founded the K7 League . The first K7 League season was played successfully in mid-2017. At the beginning of 2018, the new K6 League was founded with the newcomers from the K7 League . The winners and the runners-up in the K6 League got out of the K5 League, which was founded in 2019, and played the provincial championship there.

Depending on the province, the associations also organize their regional cup, e.g. in Gyeonggi-do , the Gyeonggi-do Cup .
