Byeoksan Players FC is a soccer club based in Seoul , Gwanak-gu and Geumcheon-gu in South Korea . The club currently plays in the K5 League , the sixth highest division in South Korea.
history
founding
The club was founded in 2008 under the name Byeoksan United FC .
Amateur playing times (2008-2016)
The club took part in several amateur leagues that were organized outside of the KFA football league system. However, there is no information about these seasons.
Inclusion in the Divisions League (since 2017)
In 2016, the decision was made to join the newly founded Divisions League football association and joined the K7 League , which was also newly founded . In their first season, they won the relay championship straight away and also won the promotion play-offs carried out afterwards and thus rose to the K6 League, which was newly founded in 2018 . In 2018 the club also won the K6 League relay and was promoted to the newly founded K5 League .
Through the promotion, the club qualified for the first time for the Korean FA Cup . In the first main round, the club met Honam University , which they lost 2-0. For the 2019 season they were able to cause a very big surprise with the signing of Kim Yong-dae .
