The K7 League is the lowest amateur league in South Korean football . It was founded in 2017 as a result of the structural reform plans of the KFA. Until 2019 the league was called Division 7-League . The league is part of the Division League association.

The K7 League consists of various regional associations:

  • Seoul Football Association
  • Daegu Football Association
  • Busan Football Association
  • Incheon Football Association
  • Gwangju Football Association
  • Daejeon Football Association
  • Ulsan Football Association
  • Gyeonggi-do Football Association
  • Gangwon-do Football Association
  • Chungcheongbuk-do Football Association
  • Chungcheongnam-do Football Association
  • Jeollabuk-do Football Association
  • Jeollanam-do Football Association
  • Gyeongsanbuk-do Football Association
  • Gyeongsannam-do Football Association
  • Sejong Football Association

The league consists of different seasons of the respective national associations. Depending on the size of the city or the area, the squadrons are divided into:

  • City League (For smaller cities or areas, such as the city of Sangju)
  • District league (especially common in the Gyeonggi-do areas and in the metropolises of millions)
  • The Division 7 League is comparable to the German District League .

878 clubs had registered for the league by the end of 2017. For the 2018 season, the division plans to have 960 teams divided into 160 squadrons. There is a sporty promotion and relegation between the leagues of the individual associations. Accordingly, the clubs in the Division 7 League can be promoted to the Division 6 League. In 2019 the number of clubs was increased to 1002, as well as the number of relay teams increased to 164 relay teams.

The division's first season began in April 2017 and ended in November 2017. This was followed by the play-off games of the season winners.
