The Korea National League trophy was a 2004 been transferred to 2019 Football - Cup competition for South Korean club teams of the Korea National League . Since the association will cease its league operations at the end of 2019, the cup was held for the last time in the same year.
mode
The mode is first played through the group stage. The best two teams in each case qualified for the knockout round. Then the league cup championship was held over the knockout round.
Venues
The trophy was played at different locations each season. In 2004 the trophy was held in Gyeongsangnam-do , Hannam . The following year, the trophy was played in Gangwon-do , Hwacheon . In 2006 the cup was held again in Hannam. From 2007 to 2008 the cup was held in Yanggu . In 2010, it was decided to host the trophy in Donghae , Gangwon-do. In 2011, the cup was held for the first time in a big city, in Changwon . From 2012 to 2015, the association always held the cup in Yanggu. In 2016, the cup was played again elsewhere, in Ulsan . Except for the last season, the cup was played again in Yanggu. The last competition was held on Jeju-do .

- The KNL League Cup was the last league cup that was played in South Korea.
- With a few exceptions, the KNL League Cup was always held in small towns or villages where no KFA club normally took part in one of the three leagues (professional, semi-professional or amateur league)
