history

Early years

Immanuel FC , the predecessor of Goyang Zaicro FC, was founded in 1983. Immanuel FC and Hallelujah FC decided to join forces and found a Christian football club. As a result, Hallelujah FC became Immanuel FC's reserve team. After the 1985 season, Halleluja FC dropped out and focused on financial endeavors for missionary work.

The two clubs separated after a year. Immanuel FC took part in various tournaments as an amateur club. You ended the cooperation with Halleluja FC in 1991.

In 1992 Immanuel FC ran out of money. Therefore, E-Land took over the team and changed the club name to E-Land Puma FC . From 1992 to 1998 the team won three tournaments.

When the Asian crisis broke out in 1998 , E-Land broke away from the club and the club was again called Immanuel FC as an amateur club. The club brought some football players to Halleluja FC and renamed itself Halleluja FC in 1999 . The founding of Hallelujah FC in 1999 marked the official start of Goyang Zaicro's history in the K League.

Korea National League Years (2003-2012)

In 2003 the club moved to Iksan and joined the Korea National League . They reached a respectable 3rd place in their first season in the first half series, but due to protests from radical Buddhists, the club was no longer allowed to play in Iksan. The club moved to Gimpo . The 2006 season became their best season in the Korean National League, as they won the second half series and were in the final for the Korean National League championship. They lost the final 2-0 to Goyang KB Kookmin Bank FC . The club moved again, this time to Ansan . The 2007 season did not go well. You couldn't qualify for the quarter-finals. The 2008 season was successful again. They qualified for the final, but lost to Daejeon Hydro & Nuclear Power FC (3: 3) on penalties 3: 0. In 2012 they changed their name to Ansan H FC .

Moderate success in the K League Challenge (2013-2015)

In September 2012, the club announced that it would move to Goyang in 2013 and join the newly founded K League Challenge . They then changed their name to Goyang Hi FC . In the first K League Challenge season they only reached the 6th of 10 places. The following 2014 season was not completed successfully either. They only reached the 8th of 10 places. They finished the 2015 season in the same place.

Last year and dissolution of the association (2016)

On January 18, the club was renamed Goyang Zaicro FC . The company Zaicro took over the club and converted it into a semi-professional club. The first season under this name was a disaster for the club. With just 16 points from 40 games, it was their worst season in the club's history since they entered the K League Challenge. With an average attendance of just 353 spectators per game (only around 150 spectators came in between) they also had by far the worst attendance rating in the league. With 21 goals and 71 goals conceded, they also had the worst storm and the worst defensive of the season. At the end of the season, the franchise announced that they wanted to convert the club into an amateur club. Shortly before the end of the year, the club left the K League . On January 16, 2017, the club officially announced that the club would not be accepted into the K3 League and will therefore now be dissolved.
