Gimhae City FC is a soccer franchise based in Gimhae , South Korea . The franchise currently plays in the Korea National League , the third highest division in South Korea.
history
The franchise was founded in 2007 and has played in the Korea National League since the 2008 season .
In her first season in 2008 she reached a very good 5th place in the Korea National League. In the following season, the club was semi-series champion and qualified for the championship. In the final, however, they were defeated by Gangneung City FC . The 2010 season did not go well. They finished the season in 12th place. In 2011 they finished the season in 10th place. The 2012 season they finished in 11th place. The following season was better than her previous seasons. They finished the season in 5th place. The 2014 season turned out to be their worst season to date. They finished 9th and were penultimate. In 2015 they were 7. 2016 went better. They were only 5 points short of being able to take part in the championship round. They finished the season in 6th place. So far, the club could only qualify once for the Korea National League Championship.
