history
Prehistory (2017-2019)
At the end of 2016, the cooperation between the city of Ansan and the sports department of the police ended and Ansan Mugunghwa FC was dissolved. At the beginning of 2017, the city of Asan announced that it had entered into a cooperation with the sports department of the police, thus establishing the new police association Asan Mugunghwa FC . In September 2018, the sports department of the police surprisingly announced that they would no longer bring any more conscripted players to Asan and instead disband the police team. After the end of the 2018 season, the Asans city administration announced that it would convert the police association into a municipal association and continue to operate it. The conversion should take place at the end of 2019. After the end of the 2019 season , the sports department of the police got out as agreed and instead the municipal and provincial governments took over the administration of the club. On December 27, 2019, the new club and logo were presented.
Foundation (2020)
The club's first coach, Park Dong-hyeok , who was employed by Mugunghwa until recently, was introduced. With the Austrian Armin Mujakic , the first foreign soccer player was introduced in Asan at the beginning of January.
