The Gyeongnam FC is a football franchise from Changwon , South Korea . In 2015 the franchise plays in the K League Challenge , the second highest division in South Korea.

history

The franchise was founded in 2005 and joined the K-League as the 14th team in 2006.

The 2007 season was the most successful for the team so far. In the regular season she was 4th and qualified for the playoffs. There the franchise came third.

Otherwise, the team has always occupied places in the front midfield.

In the South Korean Cup, the biggest successes for the franchise to date were two second places (2008, 2012).
