Do Dong-hyun ( kor. 도동현 ; born November 19, 1993 in Seoul ) is a South Korean football player .

Career

Do, who represented South Korea's U-20s internationally , played for Boin High School in the Korean National Youth Football League and then for Kyung Hee University . At the beginning of 2012, Do completed trial training in Australia with Newcastle United Jets and a little later with the reigning champions Brisbane Roar and finally signed a three-year contract with Brisbane in July. With the commitment of Dos, who is usually active on the left wing, according to coach Rado Vidošić, it should be ensured that Thomas Broich can act in the central midfield. Due to injuries, Do, as well as the two other foreigners Yūji Takahashi and Stef Nijland signed during the season , fell short of expectations. Under Radosic he came in the first half of the season as a substitute to three short appearances, after Mike Mulvey took over the coaching post , Do was only used in the National Youth League . At the end of his first season with Brisbane, he agreed with the club on the early termination of his contract and found a new employer in the Japanese second division club FC Gifu . Since 2014, Do plays with the Indian Super League club NorthEast United FC .
