Mike Mulvey

Mike Mulvey (born February 25, 1963 in Manchester ) is an Australian - English football coach .

Coaching career

In early 2010, Mulvey became Miron Bleiberg's assistant coach at the Australian club Gold Coast United . Previously, he had already worked as an assistant coach for the Australian U-20s. On February 20, 2012, Mulvey was appointed interim coach at Gold Coast after Bleiberg had been fired due to athletic failure. In 2012, Gold Coast United was revoked due to several violations of the guidelines of the A-League, the license and the club thus dissolved.

In the summer of 2012 he became the new head coach for the Melbourne Victory women's team .

In December 2012, the A-League participant Brisbane signed Roar Mulvey as an interim coach. In February 2013, Mulvey was made permanent head coach due to good results. In the 2013/14 season he won the championship title with Roar by a 2-1 in the Grand Final against the Western Sydney Wanderers .
