The Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra ( Japanese 兵庫芸術文化センター管弦楽団, Hyōgo Geijutsu Bunka Senta Kôkyô Gakudan , about Symphony's artistic and cultural center Hyōgo in short, PAC Orchestra , also: HPAC) is a professional Japanese Symphony Orchestra, headquartered in Nishinomiya , Hyogo Prefecture . It was founded in 2005 and is a regular member of the Japanese Orchestra Association .

The orchestra is under the administration of the cultural center and as such is an integral and exclusive part of the facility. It performs operas and ballets. It consists on the one hand of 48 international young musicians under 35 years of age (so-called co-members) and of local ( resident players ) or associated musicians. The young co-members usually remain in the orchestra for a maximum of three years in order to train their skills in the sense of an orchestral academy. The current conductor is Yutaka Sado . The opening concert 2005 was sold out within one day and was supplemented by two additional performances. At the beginning of 2006 the orchestra gave a total of eight performances of Madama Butterfly . Since its inception, the orchestra has participated in the event " Suntory Presents Beethoven's 9th with a Cast of 10000" ( サ ン ト リ ー 1 万人 の 第九 , Santorī ichimannin no daiku ), which takes place every year on the first Sunday in December in the arena and multi-purpose hall of Ōsaka Castle takes place, part.
