Hyades is a free programming tool for software automates their quality check. There is an integrated test - trace and - monitoring environment for interoperability to ensure between the individual test processes.

Hyades is based on the Eclipse framework, a free development environment (IDE) for software.

The name Hyades is derived from the Hyades - according to Greek mythology, the daughters of Atlas - after whom the Hyades star cluster is named.

Hyades was integrated into the Eclipse Test & Performance Tools Platform (TPTP) project.
