Hyundai Mipo Dockyard

Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in South Korea is one of the world's largest shipyards active in the new construction and repair business.

The shipyard was founded in 1975/1982 and is located in Ulsan . The shipyard's share of new builds is over 90%, the conversion and repair business is less than 10%. Mainly container ships , freighters, multi-purpose freighters, ferries, FPSO , cable layers, pipelayers, drilling ships , anchor- handling tugs and large special ships are built. In 2015 around 3,600 people were employed.

Hyundai Mipo Dockyard is part of the Hyundai Heavy Industries Group and has been listed in the Korea Composite Stock Price Index since 1983.
