i24news (the “i” for international ) is a private international TV news channel based in Tel Aviv , Israel .
The station began broadcasting on July 17, 2013, just four months after planning began. He reports in Arabic , English and French . Although it is based in Israel, it does not broadcast in Hebrew as this is an overseas television service specifically aimed at international audiences with a particular interest in Israel.
The station is owned by the French entrepreneur Patrick Drahi and the managing director is Frank Melloul . On Astra 19.2 ° East is only to see the French version, while at 13 ° East Hotbird versions are broadcast in Arabic and English.
