IFTMIN

IFTMIN is an EDI message format for the transmission of the "electronic forwarding order". IFTMIN is defined as part of EDIFACT and part of the EANCOM subset.

An IFTMIN message typically contains the sender, the shipping company and several recipients. Each recipient is assigned one or more packages, which are usually identified by NVEs . IFTMIN only addresses forwarding agents . The customer is notified of a delivery as an electronic dispatch notification via DESADV messages ( Dispatch Advice ).

IFTMIN messages are the EDIFACT equivalent of Fortras BOARD messages.
