The IGY Valley is a valley in Mac Robertson Land, East Antarctica . It is located in the southern part of the Prince Charles Mountains .

The name is said to go back to Russian scientists. It is named after the English acronym for the International Geophysical Year ( English I nternational G eophysical Y ear ).
