Remigius Bärlocher

Remigius Bärlocher (born October 14, 1915 in Bazenheid , † December 15, 1984 in St. Gallen ) was a Swiss lawyer and politician.

Life

Bärlocher, son of the district administrator Remigius Bärlocher, completed a law degree at the universities of Freiburg, Zurich and Bern after attending the Engelberg Abbey School . In 1941 he received his doctorate. iur.

From 1944 he was a lawyer in St. Gallen (attorney's office in Holenstein). From 1957 to 1968 he was Conservative Christian Social Councilor in St. Gallen and from 1963 to 1971 National Councilor.

Bärlocher worked as a respected lawyer in many important business (including law issues ) at cantonal and federal level. After retiring from politics, he held a leading position in various associations, joint-stock companies and cooperatives. a. in Switzerland.
