INARA (Abbreviation for International Network for Aid, Relief and Assistance ) is a humanitarian , non-profit , charitable aid organization that cares for the medical needs of wounded children in war zones. In 2018 the organization takes care of children from Syria . The organization was co-founded by CNN Senior International Correspondent Arwa Damon in 2015 in Beirut , Lebanon . INARA offers the sometimes very seriously injured or sick children medical treatments that improve their quality of life, which would otherwise be inaccessible to them due to the chaos of war. INARA intervenes when a gap arises between existing institutions or non-profit organizations, in an emergency also financially. The organization offers support from start to finish, including any necessary rehabilitation measuresand medical care. By August 2018 INARA was able to help over 150 refugee children.
