INTERLIS
INTERLIS is a data description language and a transfer format with special consideration of geodata ( GIS data format ) and the model-based method. The main task is to develop a conceptual data model with Interlis (sometimes also referred to as a semantic data model ).
The syntax of INTERLIS 1 is based heavily on Modula-2 . The program ogr2ogr contained in the Geospatial Data Abstraction Library GDAL / OGR supports u. a. reading and writing INTERLIS.
Versions
There are two versions of Interlis, which are also Swiss standards of the Swiss Association for Standardization (SNV):
- INTERLIS 1 : SN 612030 - Surveying and geographic information - INTERLIS modeling language and data transfer method (edition: 1998-11); relational data modeling
- INTERLIS 2 : SN 612031 - Surveying and Geoinformation - INTERLIS 2 modeling language and data transfer method (edition: 2006-05); object-oriented data modeling
Interlis supplies both a model file (* .ili) and a transfer file (1: ITF, 2: XTF) for the data transfer
Examples of INTERLIS data models
- INTERLIS-1 data models: Data model of the official surveying of Switzerland DM.01-AV-CH and cantonal models with additional requirements
- INTERLIS-2 data models: Small interface , Swiss data model for the transfer of property descriptions , enforcement objects and owner data between the official survey and the land registry administration.
- Data structure for urban drainage VSA-DSS of the Association of Swiss Wastewater and Water Protection Experts (VSA)
