The IOI Group (under commercial law: IOI Corporation Berhad ) is a Malaysian company .

The company was founded in 1969 and was initially active in industrial oxygen production. Since the 1980s, the company has increasingly specialized in the production of palm oil . The company has plantations in Malaysia and Indonesia. In Putrajaya , the company owns two hotels, the Marriott Putrajaya Hotel and the Palm Garden Hotel . The company is headed by manager Lee Shin Cheng . IOI Group owns palm oil areas where there used to be a tropical rainforest . The company operates illegal logging. Unilever and Neste Oil are among the group's customers.
