Iisalmen Peli-Karhut (IPK) is a Finnish ice hockey club from Iisalmi . The team plays in the Mestis and plays their home games in the Iisalmen jäähalli .

history

Iisalmen Peli-Karhut appeared nationally for the first time when the team achieved promotion from the fourth-class II-divisioona to the third-class Suomi-sarja in the 2010/11 season . Previously, the team had failed twice in a row in relegation on promotion. In their first season in the Suomi-sarja, the mang team only reached relegation in the relegation round. The club has been playing in the Mestis , the second highest Finnish division, since 2016 .
