The I General Education Stefan Żeromski - Lyceum in Ełk ( Polish I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Stefana Żeromskiego w Ełku ) is a general education school.
It was founded on September 1, 1945 as a state co-educational middle school. In 1946 it became a general education lyceum . In 1965 it was named after Stefan Żeromski , in 1983 it was named I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Stefana Żeromskiego w Ełku (I General Education Stefan Żeromski - Lyceum in Ełk).
The school building was built in 1856, the sports hall in 2006. In 2013 the school received a modern sports field.
The German language diploma (B2 / C1 level) can be acquired at the I Lyzeum .
