I ARE DROID is a rock band from Sweden formed in Tokyo , Japan . The band consists of Peder Bergstrand ( vocals , electric guitar ), Fredrik Okazaki Bergström ( drums ), Jens Lagergren ( electric bass ) and Konie Ehrenkrone ( synthesizer , electric guitar). I ARE DROID are assigned to the genre of rock music , although they say they are influenced by bands such as Queens of the Stone Age , Interpol and Band of Horses .

The band was founded by the four Swedes in Tokyo and now resides in Stockholm.
She released her debut album I Are Debut in 2008, the second album, planned for autumn 2012, is already available in stores, but is listed on the band's own band page on Facebook as "unreleased".
