Ian Matthews (athlete)
Ian Matthews ( Ian Christopher Matthews; born April 11, 1948 ) is a retired British sprinter .
At the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch in 1974 he was sixth in the 4 x 100 meter relay with the English team . Over 200 m he reached the semifinals, and over 100 m he was eliminated in the preliminary run.
