Iancu Mitracu (* 1961 ; † December 14, 2014 ) was a Romanian football player .
Athletic career
Mitracu played for Dinamo Bucharest , Metalurgistul Cugir , AS Victoria Bucharest and Unirea Alba Iulia . He later worked as a functionary, at the time of his death he headed the discipline committee of AJF Alba . He died of a heart attack while playing a recreational game at the age of 53 . Since then, a tournament organized by Unirea Alba Iulia has been held every December in his honor.
