Ibâl-pî-El II.

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ibâl-pî-El II was the old Babylonian king of Ešnunna and son of Dāduša . During his reign, Ešnunna rose to become an important power as a result of massive political rivalries in Babylonia. Among other things, he helped Jasmaḫ-Addu to the throne in Mari . The supremacy of Ešnunnas which he had built up was soon lost again when his son Ṣillî-Sîn was probably defeated by Ḫammu-rapi .
