The project management software ibo netProject is used for single projects and in multi-project management.

The web application can run in a standard web browser - so the software can also be used by external project participants regardless of location without installation. An existing project process can be continued by means of an interface to organizational programs from other manufacturers (e.g. MindManager , MS Project ). The program is widely used in the service sector. Based on the requirements of financial service providers (banks), the program has developed into an industry-independent software in recent years.

Range of functions

  • Multi-project initiative: From the idea to the finished project application, ideas from employees are recorded in forms and followed up. A complete approval workflow can be stored.
  • Multi-project management: The key point here is the view of all projects in a company. In multi-project management (MPM), operating times are planned, projects are created and lists are defined, forms are designed and status reports are requested from the project managers in a simple customizing . In addition, you define the project-related access rights.
  • Individual project management: The software provides the complete infrastructure for carrying out a project. Information for the project members is made available on a project homepage. The work packages are controlled from here and project documents are stored.
  • My netProject: Every employee of a project can find his or her personal tasks in a personalized to-do list. Working times can be reported from here without having to go into the individual projects.
  • Multi-project information system: This is where the various target groups (e.g. management, auditors, multi-project managers ...) find their user-friendly data. Is Clearly with traffic lights , the cross-project view for. B. the costs of all IT projects are displayed. Lists with status report or e.g. B. the hours worked by employees can be saved or selectively called up.

Structural structure

The projects are first created in the multi-project initiative. After approval, these are available in multi-project management. Project employees can now be scheduled on it. In addition, there is now a project platform in which project managers can intervene in the project. All functions belonging to the project are clearly displayed on this platform.

Finally, evaluations take place in the multi-project information system. You can z. B. Find all work packages that will expire soon.

Finally, my netProject only shows the things that concern the currently logged-in project employee. In this way, the clarity is maintained even with many projects.

Origin and background

ibo netProject was brought onto the market in 2003 by ibo Software GmbH, headquartered in Wettenberg near Gießen. Kai Steinbrecher is responsible for the construction and conceptual development of the software.

Many functions that can be found in today's version came into the software at the suggestion of the user.

Awards

  • In 2007 netProject was recognized as an innovative product by the Initiative Mittelstand.
  • In 2012 the ibo-netProject app for iPad and iPhone was awarded the “Best of 2012” certificate by the Initiative Mittelstand.
