Idaios (son of Dardanos)
Idaios ( Greek Ἰδαῖος ) is the son of Dardanus and Chryse in Greek mythology .
With his father he moved from Arcadia via Samothrace to Phrygia , where he settled on the Ida Mountains, to which he gave his name. There he introduced the cult of the mother god Cybele and built her temple. Dardanos, on the other hand, lived in the Troas .
