Ifanadiana is a small town in the Malagasy region of Vatovavy-Fitovinany with 17,948 inhabitants in 2005. The place is on the paved national road 25 not far from the junction of the national road 14 . The majority of the population is employed in agriculture. The main products are bananas, coffee and rice.
