Ignaz Bruckner

Ignaz Bruckner (born April 8, 1938 in Scheibbs ) is a former Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and construction clerk. From 1991 to 1993 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Bruckner attended elementary and secondary school and then completed an apprenticeship as a wholesaler. He then worked as a construction clerk and from 1965 became a local councilor in Purgstall an der Erlauf . In 1976 he took over the office of vice mayor, and in 1985 he became mayor after Edgar Schober , which he held until 1998. He also represented the ÖVP between July 11, 1991 and March 4, 1993 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.

After his tenure as mayor, he was district chairman of the senior citizens' association. He is also chairman of the Purgstall music association.
