Igor Milanović
Igor Milanović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Игор Милановић ; born December 18, 1965 in Belgrade ) is a former Yugoslav water polo player .
Milanović was one of the best water polo players in Yugoslavia during his playing days. He played 349 games with the Yugoslav national water polo team and scored 560 goals. At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul , he won the gold medal with the team. He was twice world champion (1986 and 1991) and once European champion (1991). He played for the clubs VK Partizan Belgrade , HAVK Mladost Zagreb , VK Red Star Belgrade , PVK Budva , CN Catalunya and AS Roma Pallanuoto . In 2006 he was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame . In 2009 he became the coach of Partizan Belgrade and led the team to victory in the Champions League in 2011 . He achieved the same in 2015 with Pro Recco .
