Igor Sergejewitsch Mirnow ( Russian Игорь Сергеевич Мирнов ; born September 19, 1984 in Chita , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was last under contract with HK Spartak Moscow in the Continental Hockey League .
Career
Igor Mirnow began his career as a hockey player with HK Dynamo Moscow , for which he made his debut in the Russian Super League in the 2001/02 season . After becoming Russian champions for the first time in his career with Dynamo in the 2004/05 season , he won the IIHF European Champions Cup with his team the following year . During the 2007/08 season, the attacker switched to HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk , with whom he then won the IIHF European Champions Cup again. In addition, Mirnow and Metallurg reached the final of the newly founded Champions Hockey League in the 2008/09 season , in which he and his team were defeated by the ZSC Lions from Switzerland.
In 2009 he first moved to Atlant Mytishchi before he was signed by HK MWD Balaschicha in November of the same year . In January 2010 HK Sibir Novosibirsk was committed, for which he was active until the end of the 2010/11 season. In June 2011 he was signed by the reigning KHL champion Salawat Julajew Ufa , where he developed into a high performer and was always one of the team's top scorers. In May 2014 he left Ufa and was signed by Ak Bars Kazan . In the 2015/16 season his performance stagnated and Mirnow therefore switched to HK Tractor Chelyabinsk in May 2016 . There he played until October of the same year before his contract was canceled and he was signed by HK Spartak Moscow two weeks later .
