Igort
Igort (born September 26, 1958 in Cagliari as Igor Tuveri ) is an Italian comic artist .
Life
After working for the Italian comic magazine Linus , he founded the Valvoline group with Lorenzo Mattotti , Daniele Brolli , Roberto Baldazzini and Giorgio Carpinteri , which brought out the independent comic magazine Il Pinguino . From the end of the 1990s Igort published some experimental single albums with comic publishers in France and Italy and was also presented in the magazines Métal hurlant and L´Écho des Savanes . In the 1990s he drew the series Amore et Yuri for the Japanese publisher Kōdansha . He founded his own publishing house - Coconino Press - in 2000 and created four albums for it.
Igort also works for radio and television.
