Lorenzo Mattotti (born January 24, 1954 in Brescia , Lombardy ) is an Italian comic artist and graphic artist .

Life

Mattotti studied architecture for a few semesters , but then decided to become a cartoonist. He had his international breakthrough in 1985 with the album Feuer ( Fuochi ). More colorful comics , but also black and white , followed. As a graphic artist, he created illustrations for Vogue , Cosmopolitan , The New Yorker , Vanity Fair and Le Monde . He designed the official poster for the Cannes International Film Festival in 2000 .
