Igtisadchi Baku ( Azerbaijani İqtisadçı Voleybol Klubu ) is an Azerbaijani women's volleyball club of the State Economic University in Baku .
history
Igtisadchi Baku was founded in 2007 and has played in the Azerbaijani Super League since then. In addition, the women regularly take part in European competitions. In 2011 they were eliminated in the Challenge Cup in the semi-finals against local rivals Lokomotiv Baku . In 2012 Igtisadchi reached the last sixteen in the CEV Cup , where they failed at the eventual cup winner Yamamay Busto Arsizio . In 2013 Igtisadchi reached the second round of the CEV Cup again. In the 2013/14 season they took part in the Champions League for the first time and reached the play-offs of the twelve best teams.
