The Iisvesi is a lake in the Finnish landscape of Northern Savo .

The Iisvesi is an elongated lake about 30 km long with an area of about 71 km². It is at a height of 97.9 m. The lakes Rasvanki and Virmasvesi to the northeast are separated from the Iisvesi by long isthmuses and islands and flow into it. Together with these two lakes, the Iisvesi forms a lake system with a total area of 164.5 km².

The drain of the Suontienselkä flows into the southern end of the Iisvesi . The village of Suonenjoki is located about three kilometers south of the Iisvesi . To the southwest lies Lake Niinivesi , which is also separated from the Iisvesi by long isthmuses, and into which the water of the Iisvesi flows.

The water of the Iisvesi flows over a series of lakes to the Konnevesi and Päijänne . The Iisvesi is thus in the catchment area of the Kymijoki .
