The Niinivesi is a lake in the Finnish landscape of Northern Savo .
The 75.66 km² long lake has a length of 37 km and is at a height of 97.9 m. The water from the neighboring lake Iisvesi flows to the Niinivesi via the two Sunde Säynätsalmi and Vaajasalmi . The Niinivesi is drained via the Nokisenkoski rapids at its southern end to the Miekkavesi lake. The Niinivesi is part of a lake system that flows over the Konnevesi and Päijänne lakes and lies in the catchment area of the Kymijoki .
