Partnerships

Together with Seven Principles, IKARUS offers the TÜV-certified enterprise mobility solution IKARUS mobile.management with Mobile Device Management (MDM), Mobile Application Management (MAM), Mobile Content Management (MCM) and Mobile Security Management (MSM). In partnership with FireEye and Nozomi Networks, IKARUS has been operating IKARUS managed.defense, a platform for central security management in IT, OT and ICS environments, since 2019. The company cites local data processing through the integration of all technologies in its own data center in Austria as a unique selling point.

technology

The technology of the IKARUS scan.engine is developed by Ikarus Security Software itself. The software's scanning performance is optimized for stability and reliability. Initially, the virus scanners were mostly rated as excellent in relevant tests, but slowly with a high false alarm rate. Since 2014, regular VB100 awards from IKARUS scan.engine have confirmed excellent detection rates with low performance losses and good stability. The prerequisite for the VB100 Award is that the product recognizes 100% of the WildList samples in the standard settings and does not report any false positives when scanning clean samples.
