Ikeda (clan)
The Ikeda ( Japanese 池田 氏 , Ikeda-shi ) were a family of the Japanese sword nobility ( Buke ) from Ōmi, which was derived from the Seiwa Genji . Out of the widely ramified Tozama daimyo family, the Ikeda, residing in Tottori , with an income of 325,000 koku and the Ikeda residing in Okayama with an income of 315,000 koku stand out.

- Nobuteru ( 信 輝 ; 1536–1584)
- Terumasa ( 輝 政 ; 1564-1613). He married the second daughter of Tokugawa Ieyasu and received after the Battle of Sekigahara the province of Harima with an income of 520,000 koku.
- Toshitaka ( 利隆 ; 1584-1616). He inherited Himeji Castle and the greater part of Harima.
- Mitsumasa ( 光 政 ; 1609–1682). He inherited Harima, but was transferred to Tottori (325,000 Koku) with the provinces of Inaba and Hōki in 1617 . In 1632 he exchanged his domains for those of Okayama. He loved science and promoted education. In 1672 he handed over the leadership of the Han to his son.
- Tadatsugu ( 忠 継 ; 1599-1616). He was a son of Terumasa and inherited Okayama with 315,000 koku when his father died.
- Tadao ( 忠雄 ; 1609–1682), brother of Tadatsugu, followed him after his untimely death. In 1632 he moved to Tottori.
