Ilídio Ximenes da Costa (born October 3, 1968 , battle name Sakoko ) is an East Timorese politician and diplomat. He is a member of the Congresso Nacional da Reconstrução Timorense (CNRT) party.

In 1983 he graduated from the Technical School in Fatumaca . This was followed by studies at the Universitas Sanata Dharma in Yogyakarta , which he finished in 1989.

Since August 8, 2012, Costa has been State Secretary for Vocational Training and Labor. He retained the post after the cabinet reshuffle on February 16, 2015, which now bore the title of State Secretary for Employment Policy and Vocational Training. When the VII government took office in 2017, Costa left the cabinet. This post did not exist in the VII Government of East Timor (2017-2018). In 2018, Julião da Silva became the new State Secretary for Vocational Training and Employment when the Eighth Government of East Timor took office

On January 28, 2020, Costa was appointed as the new ambassador to Japan .

Costa is married and Catholic. He speaks Bahasa Indonesia, Portuguese and English as foreign languages.
