Ilene Beckerman

Ilene Beckerman (born June 15, 1935 in New York City as Ilene Edelstein ) is an American writer and journalist .

Ilene Beckerman began writing when she was 60 and raised five children and quickly became a bestselling author whose works have been translated into many languages ​​(e.g. French , German , Portuguese , Spanish, and Japanese ). She also illustrated all of her books herself.
