Ilya Rachmielewitsch Resnik
Ilja Rachmielewitsch Resnik ( Russian Илья Рахмиэлевич Резник ; born April 4, 1938 in Leningrad ) is a Russian poet. He was awarded the title of People's Artist of Russia and was accepted as an honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts .
biography
From 1958 Resnik studied at the Saint Petersburg State Theater Arts Academy. From 1965 to 1975 he worked in the troupe of the Kommissarshevskaya Theater and at the same time wrote lyrics for songs. Resnik has been working with Alla Pugatschowa since 1979 .
The song "Яблони в цвету" ("Apple trees in full bloom") brought Resnik 1975 international success.
