Ilka Meschke (* 1976 in Dresden ) is a painter and master student of Markus Lüpertz .

Career

Ilka Meschke initially trained as a carpenter and began studying painting at the Art Academy in Düsseldorf in 1999 . From 2000 she studied with Markus Lüpertz and worked for him as a tutor from 2004 to 2005. In 2005 she finished her studies as his master class student. Ilka Meschke lives and works in Düsseldorf.
