Illja Arkadijowytsch Tschytschkan ( Ukrainian Ілля Аркадійович Чичкан ; * 1967 in Kiev ) is a contemporary Ukrainian artist who works under the Ukrainian New Wave movement in the fields of painting , photography , installations and video projects.

The elements of radicalism, the shock effect and a conceptualism, which in this combination are mainly to be found in the work of visual arts in the areas of salon and glamor culture, can be found united in the work of Ija Tschitschkan. The Ukrainian New Wave is a group of Ukrainian artists that was founded in the early 90s and whose work is based on the period during perestroika, when the USSR still existed.
