Ilse Eerens (born 1982 in Maasmechelen ) is a Belgian opera singer ( soprano ).
Life
Eerens began her training as a singer at the age of 14 at the Lemmensinstituut in Leuven with Lieve Jansen , and from 2002 at the New Opera Academy in Amsterdam / The Hague with Jard van Nes .
In 2009 she sang “a young girl” and the “first naked virgin” in Moses and Aron at the Ruhrtriennale .
In 2011 she made her debut in Brussels in Parsifal as “Klingsor's Magic Girl”. Since then she has worked with many orchestras, including a. the Munich Radio Orchestra, the Brussels Philharmonic and the orchestra of the San Carlos Opera Lisbon. Most recently she was seen as “Marianne” in HK Gruber's Tales from the Vienna Woods (based on Ödön von Horváth ) at the Bregenz Festival and at the Theater an der Wien .
