Ilse Gaste (* before 1926, † after 1931 as Ilse Kishauer ) was a German figure skater .
Career
With Herbert Haertel as a partner, Ilse Kishauer competed for the first time at the figure skating world championships in 1926 and came in eighth. With her future husband Ernst Gaste , she also finished eighth at the 1928 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz . At the World Figure Skating Championships in 1931 , the couple finished seventh. From 1927 to 1931 the duo dominated the national championships and became German champions in pair skating five times in a row.
