Emil Paul Ernst Gaste (born May 13, 1898 in Berlin ; † after 1931 ) was a German figure skater .
Career
With his later wife Ilse Kishauer , he competed at the 1928 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz and finished eighth. At the World Figure Skating Championships in 1931 , the couple finished seventh. From 1927 to 1931 the duo dominated the national championships and became German champions in pair skating five times in a row.
