Ilse Lohmann (lawyer)

Ilse Lohmann (born June 9, 1960 ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Career

Ilse Lohmann began her judging career in 1988 in North Rhine-Westphalia . In 1991 she was appointed judge at the regional court in Dortmund . After a three-year secondment as a research assistant at the Federal Court of Justice, she moved to the higher judicial service of the state of Saxony-Anhalt in 1996 and was appointed judge at the Naumburg Higher Regional Court. In 2002 and 2003, she was seconded to the Ministry of Justice of the State of Saxony-Anhalt , where she headed various departments. Since her appointment as a judge at the Federal Court of Justice in September 2004, she has belonged to the IX, who is mainly responsible for insolvency and foreclosure law as well as lawyer and tax advisor liability. Ilse Lohmann was also chairwoman of the judges' council of the Federal Court of Justice.
