Im Seung-hwi ( 임승희 ; born February 3, 1946 ) is a former North Korean soccer player . With the national team of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea , he took part in the 1966 World Cup in England ; here Im Seung-hwi with the number “6” played all four games against the Soviet Union , Chile , Italy (each group stage) and Portugal (quarter-finals). In 1966 he was under contract with the April 25 sports group . In addition, the 164 centimeter long left outer runner (referred to as a midfielder at the World Cup ) was used in both World Cup qualifiers against Australia in 1965 ; he scored 3-0 in the first leg.
Im Seung-hwi was seen in October 2002 as one of the survivors in the documentary The Game of Their Lives .
