Image Space Incorporated , commonly known as ISI , is an independent video game developer based in Ann Arbor , Michigan specializing in computer game development, man-in-the-loop simulator architectures, computer image generation , and entertainment systems integration.

ISI started producing military simulators. The company works on many different types of software but has focused most of the development time over the years on racing games and simulators. ISI also developed the ISImotor - game engine which is used for creating many racing games such as GT Legends , GTR2 , ARCA Sim Racing '08 , Race 07 and others. ISI never made games for consoles except for Shadowgate Rising , which was canceled. The sports car GT titles for the PlayStation were developed by Point of View and all EA Formula 1 games for the consoles were developed by Visual Science .

Image Space Incorporated is one of the most popular racing simulation technology providers. The gMotor engine is in many games from third-party developers such as Simbin , 2Pez, Blimey or Reiza with titles such as ARCA Sim Racing , GTR , GTR2 , GTL , Simulador Turismo Carretera , Top Race Simulador , Game Stock Car , Race , Race 07 , TC2000 Racing , SimRaceway , Automobilista , Lexus IS F , STCC , RaceRoom , Race On and many others.
